If the USB Stick (used for storing audio files) is formatted to have multiple partitions, the media menu should detects each partition as a separate media source, so there would be several entries in the top media source selector menu for each partition of the USB Stick, probably named after the partition label. So the top list would consist of "Sounds of Nature", "DAB+ Radio", "Bluetooth", "USB-Partition1", "USB-Partition2", "USB-Podcasts", etc.
With this feature, one can easily switch between Songs, Podcast, Kids songs, etc. without (as is now the case) having to browse the directories inside the single partition. The infotainment system would naturally also remembers the active track being played for each partition, separately. Therefore, playing a song from the "Songs" partition does not cause the system to forget the last-played audiobook or kid's song.
