  • Code is possibly just a later evolution from the older device
• For Linux

  • Unpacking and browsing within, I ascertained that the code is GPLv2
  • So the vendor does not seem averse to opensource.
• For windows
  • by trial and error I found that
    • WinUSBDisplay_Windows_V3.1.9.82.exe and WinUSBDisplay_Windows_V4.1.10.25.exe are for some unreleased device 345f:9133 maybe and driver can't be applied.
    • MSDisplay_Windows_V2.0.1.7.3.exe does work for Win11-23H2
• Perhaps there is useful information in that code that is helpful.
• Documenting this here so that it may be useful to future code contributors.
