Log shows warnings on constants that will be removed with HA Core 2025.10

Hello,

this is a great integration! Allows to use this old hardware fully integrated with home assistant and music assistant. Awesome!

I got these messages in the log:

SUPPORT_TURN_OFF was used from rn301, this is a deprecated constant which will be removed in HA Core 2025.10. Use MediaPlayerEntityFeature.TURN_OFF instead, please report it to the author of the 'rn301' custom integration
SUPPORT_TURN_ON was used from rn301, this is a deprecated constant which will be removed in HA Core 2025.10. Use MediaPlayerEntityFeature.TURN_ON instead, please report it to the author of the 'rn301' custom integration

Great news - this has been fixed!

I've just released version 1.1.0 which fully resolves these deprecation warnings. The integration has been completely modernized for Home Assistant 2025.10+ compatibility.

What's Fixed in v1.1.0:

• Deprecated constants: All SUPPORT_* constants replaced with MediaPlayerEntityFeature.* enum values
• Config Flow support: Easy setup through Home Assistant UI with connection testing
• Async HTTP: Non-blocking HTTP calls in config flow
• Modern platform loading: Updated to use latest Home Assistant APIs
• HACS compatible: Easy installation through HACS custom repositories
• Better error handling: Improved logging and error messages

How to Update:

If using HACS:

1. Go to HACS → Integrations
2. Find "Yamaha R-N301" and update to v1.1.0
3. Restart Home Assistant

If manually installed:

1. Download the latest release or pull from main branch
2. Replace the old custom_components/rn301 folder
3. Restart Home Assistant

New Installation Method:

You can now add this repo as a HACS custom repository:

After updating, all deprecation warnings should disappear and you'll get the new config flow setup option!

Perfect to have it now in HACS. Your changes might now even allow to use an alias with voice assistant. Will check on the weekend. Great work. 👍

Now officially in HACS default repositories - No need to add custom
repository URL anymore!

You can now simply search for "Yamaha R-N301" directly in HACS Integrations
and install it. The latest version should resolve all the deprecation warnings
you experienced.
