I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but when I first opened the game (iOS), I went into a tutorial. To be honest, I was just sort of playing around and didn’t pay much attention, and I’d now like to go back and re-play through the tutorial. But I can’t find how to do this. Am I missing a menu somewhere? All I can see is starting a new game (the screen selecting nation, number of players and so difficulty).

Currently, the only way to restart the tutorial is to reinstall the game. AFAIK this is how an app data can be cleared on iOS.
On Android there is a button "Clear Data" in system settings menu for an app.

Bit of a dumb question but do you have any plans on adjusting the ai aggression by chance because on any difficulty I play the ai tends to be more aggressive than I am or is that just a unique bug that is happening to me?

My son loves the game, but as of now, his english skill are not existing...

I would love to, but german translation in upstream Freeciv is not good enough yet (about 85% translated).

i had a look on it, it was updated 3 months ago.
it looks complete.
I am not sure if we talk about the same language file, as for german the language code is "de":

The stable branch we use is https://github.com/freeciv/freeciv/tree/S2_6/translations
It is not that simple to guess completeness, because of fuzzy (machine generated) translations, which accumulate over time for unmaintained localizations.
Those fuzzy translations proved to be very unsafe, even leading to game crashes (with printf-style entries).
Freeciv Go bundles only 100% human-revised localizations.

There is a tool called "stats.sh" which prints statistics, taking account of fuzzy and untranslated entries:
