Request: 16 KB memory page support for Android 15+ in Flutter package

Hello Rive Team,

We are using the Rive Flutter package in our app and noticed that the current version (up to rive 0.13.20) does not support 16 KB memory pages required for Android 15+ apps.

Google Play will block uploads of apps targeting Android 15+ that include native libraries not aligned to 16 KB pages. The current librive_text.so and other native libraries are not compatible.

We kindly request a future release of the Flutter package with native libraries rebuilt using NDK ≥ 27 to ensure 16 KB page alignment.

No, it didn’t work. Google has set the deadline for this issue to November 1st, and all apps need to be updated by then. It would be great if the Rive team could take a look at this.

you might encounter the following output after applying the above update:
armeabi-v7a/librive_text.so: UNALIGNED (2**12)

I created a new internal release a few minutes ago with these lines of code for Rive, along with some fixes to support 16 KB page sizes. The Google Play Console now reports that the app is compliant with the 16 KB page size requirement.

Also the ndkVersion in the build.gradle must have the same version.

Try modifying the rive_common build.gradle the changes people are suggesting here do all those changes to it. Let me know the observations. Note you will find the rive_common plugin in you pub cache.
