Riv file cannot be added from project root

I followed the Getting Started guide on the Rive website. I got stuck when I tried to add the .riv file. Nothing happened after dragging it into the editor. The .riv files was located at the project root directory. After moving the file elsewhere, I could suddenly add it as expected.

We haven't been able to reproduce this yet. If you could share a mini-repro project along with more information about where you're running the unity editor (e.g. windows/mac/linux), that would be really helpful.
