5.6 setting text variables?

I saw in a community post that 5.6 works with the rewritten branch, i have 0.4.6t installed and i am trying to follow the workflow to set text, however it seems i cannot find any of the nodes associated with that (set text value path + on rive ready) 

curious if there has been an established work around yet
