Hi I'm just leaving a comment to shay tank you, I create a small CLI tool to use in combination with this package.

Thanks for sharing. I took a look at https://github.com/groteck/iconsToElm/blob/master/example/Assets.elm, it's a bit different from what I imagined when I first read your comment.

It would be interesting to write a renderer, so that instead of parse inlineSvg in runtime, your CLI converts the svg string to something like

iconaidKit: Html msg
iconaidKit =
  svg [ attribute "viewBox" "0 0 32 32" ]
      [ node "path" [ attribute "d" "... ..." ] []
      ]

So that Assets.elm will be more concise and has better performance.

I tried with mbylstra/html-to-elm#24 but I had errors with some svg formats, I didn't investigate it more deeper but I had some successful tests.
