Hi,
i am running HA in a Docker environment. I have mosquitto running and created a seperate mosquitto-tls docker. I created the necessary certificates and changed the MQTT server in the datalogger.

Looking at the GroBro docker logs it seems everything is working, Noah connects to mosquitto-tls, GroBro ist getting the traffic.

But thats where I am currently stuck. Do i need to install the HA Add-On?

Is this the expected behavior or is GroBro unable to decrypt the MQTT meassges because it says "0 registers".

And another thing I am unsure about: I do understand that GroBro is currently limited to read messages from the Noah device but not able to write settings. In case GroBro proxies the messages to the growatt servers, will settings in the ShinePhone/Growatt cloud be published to the device?

Did you configure the REGISTER_FILTER variable?Device model auto-detection isn't implemented yet, but will come soon.

It is able to decrypt them, but no message matches the current filter.

Write support will come soon. If you enable forwarding, all messages sent over the Growatt Cloud will be forwarded to your device and vice-versa. It's a transparent proxy mode.

Ah! Good point, missed that one since it was mentioned as not required in the configuration. I guess this should solve my issue

Reached the same point on my raspy/docker system. Can you point me to that REGISTER_FILTER variable? Where does it belong - struggling to find that one at all.

Unfortunately this was wrongfully removed from docs while heading to v2.0 with device auto-detection.

| REGISTER_FILTER | ❌ No | Comma-separated list of serial:alias pairs (e.g. 123456789:NOAH,987654321:NEO800). Allows specifying which register set to apply per device. Defaults to inverter register map if not set. |

Thanks! Spitting some values now :) Is the option GROWATT_CLOUD=true considered stable? I am running "true", but as i was setting things up and having some reboots on my raspy, my NOAH went at some point into appearing offline - weblogin/shine-app wise.
Anyway, i´ll embedd it official again into growatt and edit server ip, in order to see if that behaviour occurs again.

Yes, GROWATT_CLOUD is stable as long as GroBro has internet access to reach their cloud.
