Custom notes generator for MP3 files

Thanks for the great work I was looking for something like this. Can you explain your process of generating the notes for the music? Are you doing it manually or did you wrote a script to generate these tones for you.  I trying to build a program that will generate the Arduino code for whatever sound selected by the user but I don't know anything about music so its hard :)
