Human Mode is designed as a local desktop utility. It does not need an account, cloud service, or telemetry endpoint to do its job.
Detection, schedules, usage stats, and enforcement run on your machine. Human Mode has no backend service and does not upload your prompts, browser tabs, process list, settings, schedules, or usage stats.

Browser detection reads tab URLs and titles only where the operating system and browser allow it. This is used to decide whether a watched AI site is open. The app does not send those URLs to a server.
Some platforms require explicit permission before Human Mode can inspect browser tabs, show notifications, or close a matching target. Permission details are documented in docs/PERMISSIONS.md.
Uninstalling the app removes the application binary. Settings and local data may remain in the operating system's normal application-data directory until you delete them manually. A first-party reset command is planned.
