Shimmering screen #3112

Describe the bug
Every time I open the app, it shows a shimmer, which is noticeable in the dark areas of the screen. I typically game, so I use HDR on my OLED monitor. I've read there can be conflicts with HDR in the past, but this only started happening recently. I know there was an Nvidia update recently, but I am not sure if Microslop has had one. I haven't tried it with any other wallpaper to see if I get the same effect.
Steps to reproduce
- I open the app,
- I apply the matrix theme
- I click anywhere on the background, and it starts giving a faint shimmering effect
- I close the app
- I repair and restart it in the Windows application tab, but this does not work.
- I uninstalled and reinstalled, and I still get the same thing.
Expected behavior
I expect the app to function without the shimmering effect once I pick the theme.
