i have installed and enabled it but when going to the copied link it redirects me to the login page

FYI I thought I had the same issue, but I simply had the wrong prefix in my config for the app. It's important to add your username to the "Copy prefix" in Settings > Sharing:

Then public URLs are at https://NCURL/apps/sharingpath/USER/path/to/public/dir/FILE-NAME.EXT

YMMV but this was what I was doing wrong 🙂
