file already exists warning message

I have been getting a warning message that the data “already exists. Skipping downloading.” for data that I had not requested before. I am getting the same message when I change prism download directory and even type of variable. I am using prism 0.2.3 and R 4.4.0

The prism API changed, and unfortunately I did not get the package updated before the old API went offline.

I'm working on getting an update pushed to CRAN.

In the meantime, you could work with the current version on GitHub, which should work for everything except 30-year normals.
