copy several files

This is more a question than an issue.

If I select multiple files and press CTRL-C I get a warning "You cannot do this to more than one item at a time", but copying multiple files at once is possible if I use a drag operation.

So before attempting a patch I wanted to ask if there is a good reason for this limitation?
