Use paths relative to this file. Run bash scripts/iread workspace first. Do not browse or analyze the source repository, run nested agents to rediscover usage, or rebuild the host Agent's indexes.
If the runtime is missing, run bash scripts/install-runtime once and retry. Use bash; downloaded files may lose executable modes.

For a new installation:
- Run
bash scripts/iread doctor --offline. - Run
bash scripts/iread demo --output-dir OUTPUT_DIR; show both output paths. - Offer one RSS-only trial: one field, 3–10 sources, one local report.
- After approval, run
activate --approved --skip-wechat --bootstrapto collect, enrich, and produce the first daily report; keep schedules explicit and reversible. - Add sources, WeChat, backfill, or schedules only after a useful real report.
The fixture proves installation and output creation, not research value. Before mutations, inspect capabilities; require its approvals, then run workspace and acceptance.
