Subtitles aren't showing up at all.

I honestly have no idea what is going wrong. I've followed all the steps from the video guides that maker made for Localvocal but they really don't cover the problem I'm having. I have the the text source that is automatically created when you start up OBS after downloading Localvocal. But words just don't show up there. I've tried all the different whisper models that I could, tried to only do subtitles instead of translation. Nothing works. Words just don't show up on the screen. Please help. :(

Would it be possible for you to take screenshots of your settings for the plugin and attach them here please?

Also can you please attach the OBS log file? You can get to the log files from the menu "Help -> Log Files -> Show Log Files"

Is that the only log there is? It looks like the plugin wasn't loaded in that log, which is weird because you wouldn't be able to get to the settings to take screenshots if the plugin isn't loaded

A thought did occur to me - do you have multiple scenes or are you just trying it with the default scene in which the "LocalVocal Subtitles" text source was created?

I see what's going wrong. It's finding the model file but is failing to load it so maybe the default pre-installed model file needs replacing. I'll add that to my list of things that need doing, but as a workaround if you delete the model file that's at C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-localvocal\models\ggml-tiny-en\ggml-tiny.en.bin then it should be re-downloaded when you next run OBS. If that still doesn't work, try another model like "Whisper Base English"

Just tried it but words still don't show up :( I tried base english and the whisper base english (chaptgpt-openai) . I've tried a lot of different models actually and no matter what I do , subtitles just don't appear. I've tried deleting the text source as well and then it comes back when I restart obs but that didn't do anything. I've tried just uninstalling obs (I had the steam obs) and reinstalling obs straight from the website. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling localvocal. I've tried installing the different localvocals like the AMD or the CPU but neither did anything. x_x

Does OBS need to be in the C drive ? I'm still trying to figure it out but I'm out of ideas.. I just don't know enough about computers xD
I've tried so many of the different models, I tried turning off Avast because I thought maybe that was what was blocking something but that didn't do anything. I just don't know :(
