When you have an AsyncValue you can use myAsyncValue.when method in the build of your widget so you can handle the error, loading, and data cases. https://pub.dev/documentation/riverpod/latest/riverpod/AsyncValueExtensions/when.html |

I've got a lot of streams being exposed through
AsyncProviders and I thought I could useselectAsyncto select only the data I needed to cut down on redraws in my Flutter containers. But callingref.watchon the return value ofselectAsyncgives me aFutureand I don't know how to deal with that in a Flutter build method. Is there something obvious I'm missing?
