Inverted in motion "closing..." and "opening..." in homekit

I have an issue whereby a blind will show up correctly in HomeKit, i.e. the status at rest is correct either open or closed. If I "click" the blind in HomeKit it will start moving to change the state. On its way to the new state it will show the in motion status inverted

An example:

1. the blind is open and labelled correctly as open in HomeKit
2. I click the blind in HomeKit to close it
3. The status will change to "opening...", while it is actually closing
4. Once it is fully closed the status will change to the correct = Closed

I also observe the inverted "closing" and "opening" in HomeKit. However I in home assistant itself, the motion terminology is correct. Is it possible that this is a home assistant bug with shades? Not a huge deal, but it is confusing ..
