[FR] could `renv::update()` look in the cellar?

I use the renv cellar feature a lot. One downside is discovering updated internal packages contributed by others is not easy. renv::update() does not identify them. To update I normally just rerun install.

While I'm here, was also wondering if there is a planned release for CRAN upcoming? Dev has a lot of awesome features I'm eagerly awaiting 😁

Thanks for the bug report -- indeed, renv::update() doesn't look into the cellar currently for updated packages; only install does that.

I can also start preparing a CRAN release of renv; thanks for the nudge!
