why would you make something that throws a tantrum at the slightest hint of javascript on a page. i just wanted to play old flash games (like. what this emulator is meant to do) and all the ones i've tried haven't worked at ALL. either just a nondescript black screen that tells me nothing about what's wrong, or "wah wah javascript", or something about not being able to find some file. so far, nothing about this extension has worked for me AT ALL. i can't use it if it doesn't work.

Hello, many games on the Wayback Machine will not work because they depend on assets that were not saved by the Wayback Machine. In this specific case the website also included code that breaks Ruffle, and even when trying to run it directly it is missing assets. If you have other games that show a different error message (or just a black screen), can you link them here?

ok so i've calmed down since then and found out about flashpoint, it sucks that i can't play these games on the old site itself but at least this way the games are gonna be reliably archived in their entirety and pretty confirmed to work. i haven't actually tried out flashpoint yet, but i've looked around and i checked extensively to make sure it's safe, and it looks pretty promising. i might go back later and look for the ones that give out the black screens, i wanna know what that was all about.
