I think it's worth mentioning that Wasm needs Javascript to initialize/run it on browsers, and it can't access the DOM directly (it needs bindings).
IMO, Wasm will always be immature, until browsers support running it directly (as if it was a binary script).
I understand this is not Rust's fault. But still, it's something worth noting
