Description
Let's use this issue as a place to gather useful content we'd like to have on the home page
Feel free to drop your thoughts and I'll try to collate them!
Are We Safety Critical Yet?
We should have a fair appraisal of where we are for each safety-critical domain currently that we're confidence enough to speak to.
I imagine that those familiar with particular domains can look over where we currently stand in terms of available resources to make some sort of judgement call.
Automotive
Probably break down by ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level)
- QM - ?%
- ASIL A - ?%
- ASIL B - ?%
- ASIL C - ?%
- ASIL D - ?%
with some rationale for each.
Aerospace
I'm out of my depth here. @adfernandes and others in this space?
Layout
We discussed having roughly three categories --
- Coding Guidelines
- Tooling
- Standards

That way each subcommittee can try to flesh out these sections with relevant documents and references.
Coding Guidelines
- (As-yet unreleased) SAE JA-1020: Recommendations for the Rust Programming Language in Safety-Related Systems
- High Assurance Rust
