Why are you interested in joining the Safety Critical Rust Consortium?

I'm an embedded runtime/middleware software engineer who develops in-vehicle software as part of my job and also a Rust learner/practitioner/lover for 3~4 years. After these years of experience, I developed a strong believe that Rust with its primary focus on improving safety and ergonomic tooling has huge potential to be the game changer in the programming language market for the safety-critical systems, in which C and C-like C++ dominate for decades. I'd like to join this consortium and get involved to make progress for its adoption in safety critical area.

@onixie -- if you're interested in joining meetings it'd be good to also submit a Consortium Subcommittee Membership GitHub issue template too.

There's three subcommittees, with the Coding Guidelines Subcommittee having 2/3 meetings possible for Asia-Pacific region with its rotating time slot.
