FromRequest, Outcome and Redirects

Hello, I would like to ask a question...

Is it possible to make a redirect in a 'from_request', if this is possible, how is it done?.

let me explain...

impl<'r> FromRequest<'r> for Customer { 
    async fn from_request() -> {
        let out = req.guard::<Connection<Db>>().await;
        let mut db = try_outcome!(out.map_error(|f| (f.0, ())));
        
        // ............

        let customer = get_customer();
        
        if customer.auth_mfa {
	    // REDIRECT TO MFA
        }
    }
 }

There are certain sections (not all) that use 'customer', is it possible to make a redirect only in these sections where 'customer' is being used?.

In case it is not possible, what is the procedure; add a capture for “ALL” requests and call “again” to the database in order to make a redirection?.

The basic answer is not really. I'd recommend forwarding the request (return Outcome::Forward from the from_request implementation), after putting a note in the request's local_cache. The catcher for whatever status you return from the request guard can then check for the presence of this note, and return a redirect to the MFA page.
