Custom Size & Position Center Offset negative X or Y

When I create a new size/position where position is specified with Center Offset, the window position appears to work as expected when X & Y are positive values, but when either or both of them are negative, then the effect is unpredictable.

Same issue whether the window size X & Y is in # of pixel or <1.

Would you mind confirming if negative values are supposed to work? Or is this a bug?

I am trying to create a 3x3 video wall, with the center window as the anchor. Top left / Top / Top right does work well in my ultra wide desktop, leaving big gaps between videos. I would like them tightly touching each other thus my thought of using Center Offset to achieve that. Workaround ideas welcomed!

Thanks for reporting. This is indeed a bug, and I'll slate it for the next release. The initial intent behind center offset is to allow a custom upper center configuration - to center a window but allow it to be placed slightly above center. With that in mind, creating a 3x3 grid is typically achieved without using center offset. Since 3x3 windows can be set to all of the existing corners/edges/center options, and there are the existing ninths commands, I suspect you're trying to achieve something slightly different?

I want to have a 3x3 grid without gaps between the 9 windows, centered in the desktop, ideally with a single set of keyboard shortcuts cycling through the placement

The problem with using the built-in Top left / Top / Top right / etc is the gap between windows, if the visible frame of the screen is not an exact multiple of the window size for both x & y, thus my idea to use center offset to do it.

My current work around is to use custom origin to specify the precise coordinates for each of the 9 windows.

However, this only works for a specific set of screen resolution and window size, and I need to create different set of settings for laptop and various external monitors I use from time to time. Window size can be specified in fractions/decimal, it would be great if the center offset x & y can also be done the same way.
