Editing Layouts: Confusing - Layout Minus Button

CONFUSING LAYOUT BUTTONS

ISSUE: When I clicked the "minus button", the whole layout disappeared! This was unexpected, because:

• Minus symbol doesn't communicate delete
• Plus symbols doesn't add a layout (thus lack of symmetry)
• There was no modal, to confirm deletion.
• There was no tooltip, to help me understand that the button would delete the whole layout.

Ideal fix:
I'd love to see:

• A layout deletion confirmation modal.
• A symbol of a trash can, rather than minus symbol.
• Tooltips

I appreciate the feedback! I've gone ahead and fixed this with your recommendations and it will go out in the next release.
