The name of this add-on is a little confusing. Isn't this really a "gpio i2c" sensors adapter?

not gpio, today only i2c, but I plan to support more sensors (and buses: uart, 1w and more)

Ah I see. Still, when I came across it I read it as being something that would benefit all other adapters/add-ons. Like the virtual devices add-on. Something generic.
