indicator swap using class .indicator-swap-active

Just encountered an issue/scenario which I believe would have been nicely resolved by a indicator swap feature.

Can you explain the challenge please?

Have a case where sometimes 2+ more input fields need to be valid before I can represent to the user that it is ok to submit the data.
The validation library can only add or remove classes (error/success) to a chosen parent element. e.g. a join-group or in the div in the example I gave above.
So being able to toggle a type of indicator-swap-active class would be perfect here.
