bug: select-ghost stays transparent on focus in Edge

In latest Edge/Chrome (v148) the :focus, :focus-within for a .select-ghost does not work anymore. The dropdown stays transparent (see behind 'Raleway'), as :focus/:focus-within does not match:

I would say it is expected (it is ghost with transparent bg)
What bg would you suggest to use?

I changed to border-none instead of select-ghost and set background to bg-base-100

@pdanpdan i expected the component itself is transparent and de dropdown seted to white or gray-black in case of dark mode
