Feature Requests for Improved Usability in Saber App

Saber is a fantastic note-taking app—fast, responsive, and smooth. However, adding the following features would greatly enhance the user experience:
Feature Requests:

1. Smart Scroll Detection (Finger vs. Stylus):

Currently, scrolling requires pressing Ctrl + F.
It would be more intuitive if the app could detect input type:
Finger touch → Scroll
Stylus/Pen tablet → Write (no scrolling)
This would improve workflow without requiring manual toggling.

2. Clipboard Paste Support for Screenshots:

Currently, if I take a screenshot using Windows + Shift + S, I can't paste it into Saber using Ctrl + V.
Adding support for direct image pasting from the clipboard would enhance workflow efficiency.
This feature is especially useful for quickly adding references or annotations without saving images separately.

3. Custom Margins and Additional Writing Space for PDFs:

Ability to add extra space on the margins of an imported PDF for writing notes.
Alternatively, a rectangle tool (similar to Open Source Note Taking App called Rnote by flxzt) that, when drawn, inserts additional space in between the page. Link - https://github.com/flxzt/rnote
This would be extremely useful for adding annotations without overlapping existing content.

4. Custom Keyboard Shortcuts for Pen Tools:

Assign shortcuts (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4) to specific pen tools with fixed colors.
Enables quick tool switching for a smoother writing experience.

Thank you for the great app, just started using it and I love it!

Bullet 2, i.e. pasting images from clipboard (for example from Smart Select on android tablets) would be very productive to me.

I use the app for writing solutions to homework problems; I want to copy the problem description (an image) and then write the solution below.

It would save much time, effort and annoyance to NOT do it in two steps (save it as an image and then import it) or copy the content manually which is just needlessly repetitive.

I just closed a discussion I made that resembles bullet points 3 here (adding padding space around PDF's). I pasted my thoughts about it below, but also wanted to throw my hat in for bullet point 2 (clipboard support).

An additional feature that I feel could improve functionality is being able to import PDF's at a shrunken scale. Some of the lecture slides my professors provide don't leave much space for additional notes: being able to import at a smaller scale (e.g. 70%) can create extra space around the edges to write on.

When a PDF has been imported, it looks like there is an existing option in settings to select "Background Image Fit" with Stretch, Cover, or Contain as current options. Perhaps this feature could be added as a fourth option to "Shrink" or "Pad".
