To improve functionality, it would be nice to add the option to filter out regions from the sdata object, (and maybe save them somewhere else).
This can be relevant to filter out regions of low quality, to exclude certain parts of the tissue etc.
Mainly the table should be filtered, maybe in combination with the segmentation mask shapes layer.
