Add version tag on release

Hi,

During update this project in Guix I've noticed it stopped placing version tag
after 1.6.1 while there is a fresh version mentioned in pyproject.toml (1.9.2,
which is on it's own branch 1.9.2).

Is it posible to add a release or place a version tag?
