Support for CellChatDB v2 in LIANA / OmniPath

Hi,

I am currently working with LIANA and would like to use the new CellChatDB v2, which includes several important updates compared to the version currently integrated in OmniPath.

I have two questions:

1. Is there an easy way to manually include CellChatDB v2 into LIANA’s ligand–receptor consensus?

2. If this is not currently possible, do you plan to include CellChatDB v2 in a future update of OmniPath or LIANA?
   This would help keep LR analyses aligned with the latest versions of the underlying databases.
