Describe the bug

LNAV does not always work if heading select used.

Expected behaviour

press LNAV, plane follows flight plan heading

Steps to reproduce

after take off, use heading select to manual fly to course, select LNAV, LNAV shows in panel, yet stays grey, heading select stays selected in green and does no switch to LNAV. sometime pressing other buttons, then LNAV again activates LNAV, most times LNAV will not work till restart, and only if heading select not used, if fly completely manual , then LNAV will work once close enough to the course.

In order for LNAV to engage, you have to be near the path, and at a reasonable intercept angle. Alternatively, you can go direct to any waypoint which will automatically engage it regardless.

Could you send a screenshot of your ND when what you are describing is happening?
