Make object storage available to open source site-api

S3 storage is partially implemented in the repo, but isn't fully functional without running via the platform. It should be possible to use object storage feature just by providing the necessary env vars.

- Update build asset menu to work without platform
- Include object storage in external lib demo
- Improve documentation for S3 use
