Is there a way to map the copilot key to wincompose?

Internally, it sends Win+Shift+F23. WinCompose doesnt seem to allow combinations, nor does it respect PowerToys Keyboard Manager. Is there a way to do this?

Wincompose doesn't support key combos but it supports binding key combos to one other keystroke via AutoHotkey and triggering on that, which I've done in the past by binding shift + r-alt to apps key (menu key).

I banished the Copilot key thus:

• install Microsoft PowerToys from the Microsoft Store
• PowerToys > Keyboard Mapper > Open Settings
• "Remap a shortcut" (note: not "Remap a key"!)
• Under "Select", click the pencil next to "Shortcut"
• Press the Copilot key - mine was detected as LWin+LShift+F23
• Under "To", select "Ctrl (Right)" from the dropdown list
• Press OK

And this is on a reasonably locked-down corporate laptop so I'd hope it'd work anywhere.

problem is that wincompose doesn't seem to be able to detect powertoys's key presses. it just ignores it.

ok autohotkey seems to be detected by wincompose. using this script:
