I enabled automatic cross placement in the settings, which automatically puts crosses in the cells when I place a queen, maybe thats what you were looking for.

If no, here is how I solved the puzzle:

Spoilers ahead

1. Look at the two bottom rows (row 7 and row 8). There is a red square and huge pink area, and no other colors. Only pink or red queens can be located at two bottom rows, because there are no other colors in these rows. Since there can't be more than 1 queen of same color, this means that pink queen is located at either one of two bottom rows. Pink queen cannot be placed at rows 3,4,5,6 of pink area, so we cross out all pink cells from these rows.
2. Look at two right columns (column 7 and column 8). There is an orange square and pink area, and no other colors. Apply logic from step 1 and cross out all pink cells from columns 3,4,5,6.
3. Look at rows 1 and 2. There is purple area and an orange square. Both of these areas are contained within first 2 rows. There are also cells from green and blue areas in rows 1 and 2, but no queen can be placed in them. If you do place at least one of blue or green queens at row 2, you will not be able to place both orange and purple queens at row 1 or 2. Therefore you cross out green and blue cells from row 2.
4. look at remaining cells of blue area. They are entirely located within column 4. This means that no queen of other color can be placed in column 4 other than blue queen. Cross out all other cells. Also, check columns 3 and 5, the cells that are neighbouring with blue cells (row 3 and 4) - all grey and green cells from columns 3 and 5. Assume that you put blue queen in row 3 - then neither of previously specified green and grey cells can contain a queen. Assume that you put blue queen in row 4 - then neither of previously specified cells can contain a queen. Since there are no other options for blue queen, we can guarantee that specified green and grey cells can contain queen. We cross them out
5. Look at remaining cells of cyan area. We have 2 cells remaining and can cross out entire column 3, as well as two grey cells from column 2 - row 5 and row 6.
6. look at remaining green cells - there is only one available green cell. put a queen into it and cross out corresponding cells.
7. This is it. Keep evaluating areas and putting queens. The remaining areas will only have one possible spot for queens.

I did over a hundred of these puzzles and can spot the patterns really quickly, ruling out cells that definitely cannot contain queen. Basically this puzzle was solved in 5 steps using most common tricks, hence the speed.
