Expected behaviour

When adding a YouTube video containing subtitles / closed captions, Plyr should display a button to enabled them.

Actual behaviour

Button is absent.

Steps to reproduce

Using the Code Pen YouTube demo and replacing the video by one with subtitles (ex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-BgxLtMxh0), we don't see the button anymore.

Environment

  • Browser (version): Edge (141.0.3537.71), Firefox (144.0 (64 bits)), Chrome (141.0.7390.108)

  • Operating System: Windows 10

  • Version: 10.0.19045 Build 19045

  • Browser (version): Chrome (141.0.7390.108), Safari (17.6 (19618.3.11.11.5))

  • Operating System: macos

  • Version: 14.6.1 (23G93)
