Display incorrect duration for MP3 file in Safari on MacBook

Expected behaviour

Player displays the correct duration for the MP3 file in Safari on MacBook.

Actual behaviour

Player displays incorrect duration for the MP3 file in Safari on MacBook.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the page containing the audio player in Safari on a MacBook.
2. Observe that the total duration of the MP3 file is displayed incorrectly.
3. Refresh the page.
4. Notice that the displayed total duration changes again and shows a different incorrect value.

• MP3 file: Monologue.mp3
• Browser: Safari
• Version: 21624.1.16.11.4
• Operating System: macOS
• Version: 26.4.1

There's another similar issue whereby the duration of the audio file is inaccurate. Same steps as above to reproduce the issue.

• File: sample4.zip
• Browser: Safari & Chrome (146.0.7680.151)
• Device: iPad (A16)
• Operating System: 26.2
