Still get message about defer.js after adding treenew option

I have added the treenew option to my configuration:-

plugin»indexmenu»defaultoptions

But I still get the pink error message about indexmenu needing to disable the defer.js setting.

Is there something else I need to reset or configure?

The rewrite to treenew is not finished yet.
So also the (too) simple check on deferjs is still there, see

indexmenu/syntax/indexmenu.php
