"Playback not detected" when video is playing, unable to stop or change video

Metastream version Beta 0.10.3 on Firefox
I selected a video link from Internet Archive and the video started playing. Then an error message came up saying that playback was not detected even though the video was playing. I was unable to stop or change the video. I added another video to the queue, but was unable to select it. Exiting the session does not help as the video starts over when you re-enter the session. Currently letting the video play out on a muted tab.
