How to build it frome source code in Ubuntu 24.4

When I try build it from source code in Ubuntu 24.04,it also wrong when i build the InterSpec,Based on Chatgpt's suggestion, it seems to be a version issue with eigen3 and ceres.

I used Google Translate for some sentences;please forgive me if there is any offense.

boost 1.78
eigen3 3.4: I used apt to install it,beceuse it meets the CMakeLists.txt requirement of version 3.4 or higher

I'm sorry you ran into this difficulty.

I strongly recommend using dep_build_linux.sh to build the prerequisites.

To use this script, you would:

cd /path/to/InterSpec

# The dep_build_linux.sh script takes arguments:
#           dep_build_linux.sh <path to InterSpec code> <tmp place to compile> <place to make prefix>
# For example:
./target/patches/dep_build_linux.sh . /tmp/compile_dependencies /path/to/install/InterSpec_dependencies

# ...
# A few minutes later

# Now compile InterSpec by doing a CMake configure, and then compile
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=/path/to/install/InterSpec_dependencies ..

The script that builds the dependancies makes sure to get known working version of libraries, and applies patches (see ceres.patch, wt_3.7.1_git.patch).

Another option is to let CMake grab and build the dependencies for you (instead of you running dep_build_linux.sh), so building will be something like:

git clone --recursive https://github.com/sandialabs/interspec/
cd interspec/target/electron
npm install -g cmake-js
npm install --save-dev node-addon-api --arch=x64

And yet another option is to build from within Docker, which is what the GitHub runners do for the automated release of InterSpec; see build_linux_app_from_docker.sh

Things should build on Ubuntu 24 - I think that is what is currently used by GitHub Actions to build the premade
bleeding edge builds.
