Note that any error page should inline all of its content, so that it can be properly viewed regardless of whether any other assets are currently functional. This includes CSS, script, images, and fonts.

Which means you'll probably want to design this to be fairly simple, use system fonts, and go light on graphics.

SVG graphics are pretty easy to inline, though.
