Discussion: Chrome extension companion for in-browser scoring — would this fit upstream?

Hey, thanks for career-ops been using it for a few days.

I built a Chrome extension on top of it. On Wellfound and LinkedIn, every job card gets a 0–100 score badge with a
one-line reason. On high-score roles, a Smart Apply button pre-fills the form and stops (per your "never
auto-submit" rule).

Same scoring framework you already have — prompts ported from modes/oferta.md, modes/_shared.md,
modes/apply.md. Reads the same cv.md + config/profile.yml.

Before I do anything formal I want your read. One honest note: my prototype runs on Google Gemini, not Claude. If
this ever lived upstream, the right move is a pluggable provider with Anthropic as default.

Three paths I'm open to:

• A — Keep as separate repo ("career-ops-chrome, compatible with santifer/career-ops").
• B — Make it provider-agnostic, then PR.
• C — Not a direction you want at all.

Any of those works. Just wanted to ask.
