Microsoft Open Source Code of Conduct

This project has adopted the Microsoft Open Source Code of Conduct.

Our Code of Conduct

This code of conduct applies to all spaces managed by the project, including:

  • Issue trackers
  • Discussion forums
  • Pull requests and code reviews
  • Comments and communications

Expected Behavior

We are committed to providing a welcoming and inspiring community for all. Please read and adhere to our Code of Conduct.

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy towards other community members
  • Being patient and supportive in helping others

Unacceptable Behavior

Examples of unacceptable behavior:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement

Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in:

  • A request to cease the behavior
  • Temporary or permanent removal from the project
  • Escalation to maintainers or project leadership

Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience a violation of the Code of Conduct, please report it by emailing opensource@microsoft.com. All reports will be reviewed and investigated.

This Code of Conduct is based on the Microsoft Open Source Code of Conduct, which in turn is based on the Contributor Covenant, version 1.4.
