Homebrew dir on M1

Bug Location

On Apple Silicon, Homebrew is installed into /opt/homebrew instead of /usr/local, so all mentions of that are kinda outdated. I'm of course willing to help change this, but a discussion is first needed how to, as /usr/local is still used for Intel Macs (or Intel apps on M1).
