A very often scenario is probably the user standing in front of the scanner. However, most computers aren't that mobile. Like me users will likely use their mobile phone when more than one page is scanned. Btw scanservjs works perfectly on mobile screens. But you have to type in the url manually, it would be better to allow installation as Progressive Web App (PWA) including a button on the homescreen.
It is basically only a manifest file...
Also, I heard that web apps can be included in Windows as app!
