Feature: Webapp for mobile phones

Describe the bug
A very often scenario is probably the user standing in front of the scanner. However, most computers aren't that mobile. Like me users will likely use their mobile phone when more than one page is scanned. Btw scanservjs works perfectly on mobile screens. But you have to type in the url manually, it would be better to allow installation as Progressive Web App (PWA) including a button on the homescreen.
It is basically only a manifest file...

Also, I heard that web apps can be included in Windows as app!

I am able to install as an app on my phone and computer already. There is currently a manifest, but just glancing at it in devtools there's a number of issues preventing it from being offered to the user.

That's interesting but I don't think the existing manifest brings the pwa requirements.

I probably missed it at first because I haven't used SSL on my local server. However, I've changed that for testing now. But with no prevail. Even if the scanservjs folder is made accessible from the outside (to use my SSL-certificate), which works perfectly fine from SSL perspective, does not make neither my Android Chrome Browser nor my iPhone or my Desktop Chrome advertising "install as a app".

To clarify, I do not get prompted to install as a PWA; however, if I go into the browser menu on either my computer or phone, I am able to install as an app. Edge on desktop, Chrome on mobile.

This is implemented in the community fork at https://github.com/gutschke/scanservjs — the feature/pwa branch adds a full PWA manifest, service worker, SVG favicon, and a per-instance configurable app name. There is also a pending PR (#783) against this repo that includes it. A pre-built Debian/Ubuntu package is available on the fork's binary branch if you want to try it now.
