yarn account - compiles every time

Running yarn account leads to compiling everything, every time the command is run. Is this the desired behavior?

No smart contracts or anything else is being modified, for some reason hardhat wants to compile everything every time. Happens for yarn generate too.

I don't remember this being an issue for me in the past.

I can't reproduce the error with last versions of se-2 and create-eth. But I think I've seen it some time ago.

Could you try last version(s) too?

If it still compiles, add some details please
git clone or npx create-eth? Extensions? Maybe anything else?

Closing this for now since can't reproduce with npx create-eth@latest but happy to open this if we have some deteministic reproducible steps 🙌

Steps to reproduce:

• Make any syntax error in the contract, for example just remove one ; (I removed the one after address public immutable owner in YourContract.sol)
• try to run yarn account or yarn generate. Both give me contract syntax related error

yarn account
ParserError: Expected ';' but got 'string'
  --> contracts/YourContract.sol:18:5:
   |
18 |     string public greeting = "Building Unstoppable Apps!!!";
   |     ^^^^^^


Error HH600: Compilation failed
