Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I love the search results showing the context of the phrase I search for, it's much easier to find the correct document when there is a lot of them containing the same search phrase - excerpts are great!
The problem is I find the search view cluttered by excerpts because they are always 3 lines long. On top of that I do not find them useful when the phrase I search for is in the file name (then I get frontmatter properties in the excerpts).
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to have 2 additional plugin settings options:
- A switch that allows for turning off excerpts only when the search phrase is found in the file name
- Shorter excerpt setting, that sets the excerpts length (in terms of line count), to be able to change it to 1 line (since some people might actually prefer having more context).
Describe alternatives you've considered
I have tried playing with different settings but did not find satisfactory solution. Also tried turning the excerpts off entirely, but it made finding the correct file more difficult for shorter or more vague search phrases.
Additional context
As you can see in the first result I get file properties data which is not useful at all as I always store creation time, and in the second result I would only like to have a single line of context where the search phrase is somewhere in the middle of the line for better recall.
